The ring you designed with a black sapphire is being handed down to Danica's eldest son Justin.

He is getting married to Vivienne on 22nd January 2025 in China. Danica is taking the ring to China as an heirloom gift to the couple. 

I have had a few tears. At last, after all these years, Danica sees you differently; her grudge has crumbled....

What you gave to my children and me finally has the rightful value it deserves...

Yes...I felt you smile...relieved...when I gave the ring to Danica and she graciously accepted it...

The Carrington - 1990's - before refurbishment...

Do you remember, in the 1990's, we climbed those rugged, crumbling steps...in awe of this grand old lady in Katoomba?...

We peered through the windows at builders inside, wishing we could step in further...The windows were somewhat smeared, so we could see see little beyond a half staircase and lots of covers on the floors...Not that you didn't attempt to do so, but sadly, to no avail...

You were always a bit of a wild adventurer, but always respected art...be it paintings, sculptures or buildings...

And so, on your Friday 16.8.24 birthday, I wish your new life to be filled with art...endless art...with your precious Zanzibar wizard by your side...
